Don’t Let the Enemy Turn Down Your Anthem
Your anthem is powerful. It carries purpose, calling, identity, and legacy. That’s why the enemy will try to turn down the volume on your life.
In Luke 19:39–40, we read:
“Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, ‘Teacher, rebuke your disciples!’ ‘I tell you,’ he replied, ‘if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.’”
The Pharisees wanted to silence the noise. They knew something powerful was being declared – and they didn’t like it.
Friends, let’s be real: the world, the flesh, and the devil all want your anthem silenced. Whether it’s fear, shame, criticism, doubt, or spiritual warfare, the goal is the same – mute your voice, diminish your confidence, make you sit down when you were made to stand up.
Sometimes it’s subtle. A quiet voice inside says, “You’re not good enough.” A difficult season makes you doubt what God said. Or like me, maybe someone told you to keep things “safe”, “quiet”, or “in your place”.
But we weren’t made for silence. We were made for sound.
I once had a visiting pastor say our church service felt too quiet – too safe. That hit me. I realised that when we lose confidence, we often lower the volume. But guess what? We control the dial.
God’s message to you today: Pump up the volume.
Declare His promises out loud. Speak encouragement. Sing. Testify. Prophesy. Share your story. Reclaim the truth of your calling. Don’t care if it upsets the neighbours. Be willing to make noise for the Kingdom.
Jesus refused to silence His followers. In fact, He said, “If they don’t shout, the rocks will.” That’s how vital it is to let your anthem be heard.
Tell the enemy: I will not be silenced. I have a purpose. I have a calling. My anthem is not going anywhere.
