A Call to the Church – Awaken to God’s Purpose
Joseph’s life challenges us not only individually but also as the Church. We are living in critical times. There is increasing pressure on Christians, attacks on free speech, and challenges to biblical values. In moments like these, we must remember our purpose as God’s people.
Exodus 9:16 says, “I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” God has placed His Church in this generation for a reason.
We must stand firm in God’s truth and not bow to the pressures of society. The Gospel is not politically correct; it offends because it calls for change. But it also liberates, bringing life and hope to those who hear. As a church, we must reclaim our role as a Bible-teaching, Spirit-filled people who will not compromise.
This isn’t about politics; it’s about being biblical. We need God back in our schools, our communities, and even in our churches. As believers, we are called to draw a boundary line and declare: “The enemy has no rights here. No scheme can undo God’s plans.”
Let us awaken to the times we’re living in. Life is fragile. Every breath we have is a gift from God. Therefore, we must live for His purpose by His strength. Get involved in the life of the Church, especially with the younger generation, who face unprecedented pressures.
Joseph was faithful to God in his generation; let us be faithful in ours.
