Show Your Anthem to the World – Your Life Has Impact
In John 12:19, the Pharisees make a stunning admission:
“See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the whole world has gone after him!”
Jesus’ anthem couldn’t be silenced. And the same is true for you.
The crowd couldn’t ignore Him. The city couldn’t drown Him out. His anthem – humility, love, sacrifice, and truth – rang loud and clear, and it shook the world. And today, we carry that anthem forward.
Your life is meant to be seen. Your anthem is meant to be shared.
Jesus didn’t hide His purpose. And we’re not called to hide either. We’re called to declare. To shine. To serve. To preach. To love. To go into the world and make disciples.
One of my favourite worship songs goes:
“There’s a world outside your window, so don’t let it pass you by…”
We’re not meant to stay behind closed doors. There’s a hurting, searching, broken world outside your window that needs to hear your anthem – your testimony, your message of hope, your heart for justice and mercy.
Jesus said, “Go into all the world…” He’s still saying it today.
So how do we show our anthem?
- Be bold in your workplace.
- Show kindness in your community.
- Love radically in your family.
- Pray openly.
- Serve selflessly.
- Speak up.
This Easter, remember: your anthem is not just personal – it’s missional. The power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. Don’t keep it quiet. Don’t hide your light. There’s a world waiting to hear your sound.
