Guest speaker Luke Sharp is visiting Bethany Church on Sunday the 26th March
During his visit, Luke Sharp will speak about the importance of helping children in need and showed examples of how Compassion has supported thousands of children living in extreme poverty by providing them with access to education, healthcare and career services. He will share stories of individual journeys from poverty to success that were possible thanks to Compassion’s work. Many members of the church are moved by these powerful stories and are inspired to get involved with Compassion’s mission.
Luke Sharp will also discuss how churches can partner with Compassion to make an even greater impact on the lives of vulnerable children around the world. He will highlight several ways churches can get involved with their cause, including sponsoring a child in need or hosting fundraising events for Compassion’s programs.
Luke will encourage Bethany Church Manchester members to continue supporting those on a journey out of poverty through prayer and tangible action. He will remind them that every little bit helps, even if it is just donating spare change or volunteering at a local soup kitchen or food bank.
Overall, Luke’s visit will be inspiring and encouraging for all who will attend; it will be wonderful hearing first hand accounts from someone who truly understood what it takes to make a difference in the lives of children suffering from extreme poverty.
